What Happened in Idofin, Kogi
According to eyewitnesses and local sources, the attackers stormed the community with firearms, shooting indiscriminately before fleeing into nearby forests. One victim died at the scene, while another was rushed to a medical facility and is currently receiving treatment.
The Kogi State Police Command has confirmed the incident and deployed officers to the area, though no arrests have been announced as of press time. Residents say fear has spread across the community, with some families temporarily abandoning their homes.
